Teen Week

Monday isn't very cool
Because its's the day we're back at school
No more play, no more fun
'Miss' asking if our homeworks done

Tuesday's just a little better
Since I got my boyfriends letter
And in the evening, a little treat
We can see what's happened down 'Corrie' street

Wednesday I feel a little glum
I think I've got a real fat bum
Mum says we are having Macdonalds for tea
Can't she see she is ruining me

Thursday is good and I wear a grin
James has said he thinks I'm thin
From here its not far to next weekend
And I'm going to the disco with my friend

Friday is good last day at school
No more bowing to 'Misses' rule
Pocket money is due from Dad
All in all Friday's not bad

Saturday and its stonewash jeans
Freedom for all us teens
No 'Miss', no work and no school
Just hang in town and play the fool

Sunday's the day that I like best
Back under the duvet for a nice long rest
Just laze around until a big roast dinner
Sunday really is a winner
